In this audio project an simple audio mixer will be upgraded
In this first step an aditionnal level meter per channel is added
An audio spectro meter from Elektor is also added to each channel
I start by making new level input RCA cable with a central point
This PCB board will do the preamp and the mono output
A better version will be available soon (Kicad file with Gerber)
This KA2284 vumeter is a fast display usefull for the mixing table
It’s made by Samsung and you can find it all around the world at low cost
The 7 band audio spectro meter from Elektor is fun and it will be very usefull later in the project
It’s using the MSGEQ7 component which is used to analyze the audio spectrum divided by 7 bands
Now it’s really better to mix with the sound displayed!
